THE 4 teams that made the championship bracket are Letchworth,HFL,York, and Perry. I have heard rumers that the games will be Letchworth vs. HFL and Perry vs. York. Sites are rumered to be at Letchworth and Perry on Tuesday. Nothing official posted yet. If these brackets are correct, I predict a HFL vs. Perry final. Letchworth can win it, but they just lost their top bench scorer for the year and their bench is thin to begin with. In regard to other possible matchup, Perry seems to be playing better right now and York is struggling. Great games in store no matter what the matchup are.

In the LCAA Tournament how is it determined who plays who? Is it seeded? Is it by sectional points? Is it by conferance record? I asked at least ten different knowledgeable basketball people and know one seems to know. Can someone set the record straight?

Official matchups:

#4York @ #1Letchworth
#3HFL @ #2Perry

Done by seeding points I believe. My prediction is the Perry HFL winner takes the championship and the loser will take 3rd.

Letchworth should win hands down vs. York. I recently watched York play Leroy and they struggled to put a mediocre Leroy team away, and eventually lost in double-OT, 48-44.

With that said, it's anyone championship between the next 3 teams. It's too close to call, seeing as Letchworth beat Perry twice this year, and HFL is a Class A team. I'm really not sure who is going to win, but it should be a great two days of bball.

the one that got killed by Hornell 71-42? or the one that beat Livonia 49-38? To steal a line from the Classic movie Forrest Gump, H-F-L is like a Box of choclates, you never no what your gonna get!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they won the tournament but then again I wouldn't be surprised if Perry or Letchworth beat them. As a Campbell-Savona fan i sure wouldn't mind one of these teams handing Letchworth a loss.

I do believe that Letchworth will get a loss in this tourney. They have only 7 players now on their team with a recent injury and they have been playing over their heads all year long.

That's a pretty long time to be playing over your head. They have a very solid inside presence with Buttles on the block, and Coach McMullen is a great teacher of the game. I think they're probably pretty legit - although I admit I haven't seen them play.

Somebody had better figure out how to contain Cameron Smith. He is the leading scorer in the Division I LCAA league and is very adept at handling the basketball. He can shoot and penetrate with equal proficiency. I have not seen Letchworth or Perry play this season, so I cannot make any assessments on either. I do know that Zac Putman, for HFL ( a 6' 5" big ) can be a real force when he wants to play. ( which is not always )... hence the hot and cold season, in my opinion. Kevin Howdownes is also capable of throwing in 5 or 6 threes as he has done on a few occasions this season. The rest are average high school players, but Altimonda has thrown in 19 points aginst a few teams this year, as well. Should be very interesting. Cameron Smith reminds me of Matt Newman ( last year Campbell Savona guard ) with his well-rounded basketball ability and physical presence on the floor.

Perry playing a great game last night against A school HFL. A couple plays that would have went their way would have changed the outcome. Perry will be dangerous and one of the favorites to win CC if they play like they are capable of every night.
