With Pitt, UConn, Oklahoma, and North Carolina all losing, who gets the #1 Seeds? Do all of them remain #1 or will Louisville, Mich St. Memphis, or Duke have shots at #1? What's your thoughts?
I would say the best 4 teams should get #1 seeds and for me that would be : North Carolina, Pitt, Louisville and UConn.

I agree with your four #1 seeds. I think Memphis is overrated because they are in a very weak conference in C-USA. Duke hasn't shown me a lot this year, but I think they'll be a 2 seed and Mich St. just lost to Ohio St. so they will be a lock for a 2 seed.
The only team I see having the possibility of not being a 1 seed is Pitt. They have been rather inconsistent, but then again the same could be said about UConn. It'll be interesting, that's for sure.

I think the committee would have a hard time giving UConn a #1 over Pitt. I think both deserve #1 but if one had to drop I'd say it would be UConn.

True, but I guess if you look at losses, UConn has lost to all ranked teams...can't really say the same for Pitt. I am actually kind of pulling for a 2 seed for UConn anyways. They always play terrible as a #1 seed.

I would like that but chances are they'll get screwed and end up a 6 seed playing in Portland against a west coast team. lol

Joe Linardi has Syracuse as a 6 seed right now.
He also has 8 Big Ten teams getting in and if that happens there will only be one left after the first weekend.

I think if they win tonight they might bump up to a 4 seed, but I see them anywhere from a 4 seed to a 6 seed.

My no. 1's would be Pitt, UNC, Louisville, and Memphis. UConn losing to Pitt twice, and then to WVU hurts them puts them on the 2 line for me. If SU wins tonight, they may sneak up to a 4.

I don't think that UConn's losses should cost them a #1 seed.
They have 4 total losses all year.
1 to Georgetown way early in the year.
2 to a very very good Pitt team.
and 1 to Syracuse in a 6OT game.

According to bracketology by Joe Cuse is a 4 seed.
If Cuse wins the Big East they will be a 3 seed if they lose they are a 4 maybe 5

Pitt, UNC, Louisville, & UCONN- Memphis may sneak in but I think they played a weaker schedule than the 4 teams listed.

UNC,UL,Pitt,Uconn. No way Memphis should be a number 1 they are 2-2 against teams that will play in the tourny. If Uconn happens to not make it that is a huge snub.

What seeds do these teams get?
Syracuse
Duke
Memphis
I think Duke deserves a 3 but will get a 2.
SU should be a 4.
Memphis should be a 2.

Memphis has been playing incredible, and no one can match their defense. I think they deserve a 1 seed over UCONN... That's just my opinion.

Uconn is a number 1 Memphis just didn't have the wins this year like they have had in the past. I think Cuse will be a 4 seed but I wouldn't be surprised if they got a 3. We might see Wake drop to a 4 seed.

Joe Lunardi's latest bracket on ESPN place Memphis as a 1 over UConn. I'm not sure it matters which is 1 and which is 2. You just put them in the same bracket and let them fight it out in a regional finals.
My current guess is syracuse is a 4, Duke a 2, Oklahoma a 3, Kansas a 2.

I'm a Syracuse fan and I hate Connecticut but here is why I think they deserv the #1 seed over Memphis. Most people feel Louisvill, NC, and Pitt are locks and the 4th 1 seed is between these two.
UConn's losses:Georgetown, Pitt, Pitt, and Syracuse 1 loss to a non tourney team.
Memphis's losses: Xavier, Georgetown, Syracuse. 1 loss to a non tourney team.
In the loss column things look similar. The losses to Georgetown cancel themselves out. They both lost to Syracuse. UConn lost to a healthy, full strength Syracuse that was on a winning streak and it took 6 OT's at MSG.
Memphis lost to a Syracuse squad that didn't have Devendorf at Memphis.
Even if we call this a tie(I would give advantage to UConn) we can still look at the other losses.
UConn lost to Pitt twice. Memphis lost to Xavier. Pitt is way better than Xavier but UConn did lose twice so we'll call that a tie too.
Lets go to wins.
UConn wins over bubble or tourney teams: Miami, @ Wisconsin, Gonzaga, @West Virginia, Villinova, Providence, @ Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse, @ Marquette.
Memphis wins over bubble or tourney teams: @ Tennessee, @ Gonzaga.
So they both beat Gonzaga and that cancells out. That leaves a victory over Tennessee compared to the 9 victories left for UConn. I think the choice is simple to pick the team I hate (UConn) as a #1 seed.

What about Louisville's defense? That one may be the best right now. But Memphis is playing well. But I think that they would have like 3 more losses if they played in the Big East.(My opinion, nothing personal).

I think the simple way to settle the UConn vs. Memphis debate is to put the in the same region and let the fight it out. I'll tell you who doesn't want to see UConn as the no. 2 seed in their region is UNC. That just isn't a very good matchup for them.

They usually do a wrap-around format so the lowest ranked one seed faces the top ranked two seed so I'm pretty sure they'll be in the same bracket unless the committee feels Oklahoma, Duke, or Michigan St. are better.

This isn't Around The Horn so you can't take points away for me patting my own back.
I correctly selected 64 out of the 65 teams this year. My 1 mistake was having St. Mary's in and Arizona out.
Not bad. I also correctly selected all the 1 and 2 seeds but that wasn't as hard.
