I might even say that Bath and LeRoy are higher than Rush because they have a lot of depht in those events. Doesn't Rush only have 2 kids?

In that case I have to say:
1) HFL
2) McQuaid
3) Geneva
4)Rush-Hen
5) Bath
6) LeRoy

These are based off of what I saw from indoor and last outdoor season. Also, Bath and LeRoy could be switched, they are very close to each other.

i would switch bath and leroy if u guys had anyone who could compete with sean in the 800 and mile, leroy has more depth by a little but they lack that star power that will get them mad points i think, just my 2 cents

Your kinda right with that. we will see what Jake does in the mile this year i think he can be low 30's but yea sean is the star power. we just have alot of depth with like 5 ppl that can go in the 4 40 s in the mile

This is looking at star power and depth for scoring at big meets. Looking at the earlier list, many schools were left off that do not compete in winter track. Most of those athletes are doing nordic skiing. Brighton competed this winter in track but almost all of their distance runners trained and raced in snowshoes.

My Top 10:

1. HF-L
2. Pittsford Mendon
3. Brighton
4. Brockport
5. Rush-Henrietta
6. Webster Thomas
7. McQuaid
8. Penfield
9. Geneva
10. Wayne

Who does Wayne have?

Wayne does have a good D crew, i dont think they are better than us at all. During XC they are really good. But their times for track are lacking, if these results are based on how big their d crew is then yeah they should be up there.

Wayne will be good in outdoor. They are a very young group and I see them as being a solid distance team for years to come.

Webster Thomas did lose quite a few guys from last year but they still were solid in XC. Brimstein is a horse 2:04 1/2 to a 9:55 steeple. Matiucci is also a good runner and was injured most of last year. I expect some big races from him and they have some good young guys coming up, don't under estimate them

Yeah that is a solid time. But not that good for distance, i know a ton of people around that time. Steeple is pretty solid but if you break 2 your good.

With only 7 guys in Section V breaking 10:00 in the 3k steeple, Alex ranked #6...I'd say that was very good.

And only 9 "good" guys that broke 2:00 in the 800M all of last year. I know his 2:04 is average but Alex only ran it a few times in league meets. He's capable of faster times but focused more on the steeple.

No, I'm not a Webster guy, I'm only defending my post that Thomas's distance team is a top ten team in Section V and they have much more depth than most think.

Another team that continues to improve and will do well this spring is Hilton. They have a good group of young guys that won the Nike Cross National Qualifier in the freshman race this past fall. ;)

hilton also has 2 guys who can break 1 :56 in the 8

What do you mean by that??? Just boy's distance or are the girls going to surprise too?? If you mean girls I am assuming that you're talking about Driscoll(s) and Lockwood?? Curious.... And why is Geneva going to surprise?

learn to quote n00b

anyhow...I think both sides will surprise everyone a little. The guys more than the girls 'cause everyone knows the girls are solid. With a new coach and training plan we are getting much faster on the track. Also we have a bigger D crew than in X-C. Moved up our two top 8th graders (3rd and 4th at leagues) to get them ready for the Varsity life as well...this year is looking bright for us and the future is even brighter.

yeah I'm a "chick", not enough girls get on this thing....:(

But anyway, that's good for geneva i guess. Let me think... is one of the modified ones a Lapressi he's the only one i have heard of? are there any modified girls moving up??? I seem to remember a geneva modified girl doing rly well at leagues. from what I've seen there aren't that many girls d runners from geneva in track but the few they have are good.
