I never was really tall for my age until now but even still, i hate racing taller people because they have extremely long strides. And most shrter people have faster turnover too so it is a no win.

Nigel Walker will be breaking Eric Fontanez's Freshman record in the 400m hurdles this year and will hopefully be running around a 59 by the end of the season :)

emily boehm from wheatland (8th grade) did realy good in our scrimmage she ran a 13.52 100, long jumped 14 exact and ran the 200 in 29 something and she anchored there 4X1 that got 58

Avon has a freshman named Justin O'Donoghue who ran a 10:48 two mile at counties, and an 8th grader named Bryce Mazurowski who has high jumped 5-8 in a meet and I'm pretty sure 5-10 at practice.

I just looked on the leader board and Justin has the 13th best two mile in section 5 for his grade and bryce has the best high jump in section 5 for his grade. Both of those guys are good for their age now and if they improve could be reallly good when they get older.

I think he did. When they posted the results on the wall at NYCC, it said he ran a 6.00 or something in the 45.

He ran on the modified team for Marion for Indoor which allowed him to play basketball. Coach Goodell of Marion mentioned he's not sure if he's going to run Indoor or play basketball next year as I guess he really likes hoops.

nah he's just a normal 14 year old kid....with fantastic running genes. and the thing is I don't even know if he has peaked yet??? he keeps gettin his times lower when he is faced with harder competition??? he's insane :)
