I Heard at the ER/Gananda/BK game with ER leading 26-7 just before the half. ER QB Niel Dotterer went down with what looked like it could be a serious injury trying to recover a bad snap. The ER Coaches were talking about a dislocation; he was taken away in the ambulance.
its a Tough break for E-R/Gananda I hope he recovers in time to make it back for a sectional run.
Dan or Mrs Fischer please update us on Neil's condition as soon as you hear something.

I heard it was a broken finger on his non-throwing hand

I do not know the kid, but I understand the situation. I injured my thumb playing baseball in 9th grade and it will still bother me from time to time. You can play with the kind of injury he has, but it is not fun and it will always be there.
I wish him the best and can only give the advice to play through the pain.

Its been a long weekend and havent had a chance to respond until now. Dan pretty much answered everything. It is the pinky of his non-throwing hand, and is indeed NOT broken. It was x-rayed and reset Saturday at the hospital. They are taking him early today (monday) to make sure there was no tendon or ligament damage done. I spoke with Big Neal (Sr.) yeaterday and he said Neal seems to be doing fine. After being checked out Monday, they're hoping to get "cleared" and be taking snaps by Tuesday or Wednesday. Little Neal has stressed he will be ready and will play against Geneva this Friday. I guess on behalf of the Dotterer family, thanks to everyone for your thoughts and kind words, and I will keep you posted as I know more!
GO BROWN!!

It should be but the D&C probably wont make it their game of the week in favor of some AA or AAA match-up.
