athena v thomas

big game tuesday night 6:30 @ basil marella park.

Athena and Thomas always play close, both are undefeated. From what I hear, Athena could very well be 6-0 instead are 2-0-4. Thomas has been walking all over everyone. Brad Shelofsky should be able to neutralize Matt Schuber, but Reidy will be a handful. Should be a good game.

I agree it should be a good game, but how could they be 6-0? just because you have tied 4 times in 6 games does not make you close to 6-0. they only 2 wins they have are over a buffalo team and olympia who maybe the worse team in section v. My pick is Thomas 3-1.

obviously, i am only going by from what I have heard and seen. Athena has outshot every team they played by a significant margin, just can't seem to score. They dominated churchville saturday with 25 shots, but couldn't find the net.

Athena 1 Thomas 1....great game, very exciting.. sectional like atmosphere. Thomas scored off a header in a scramble off a free kick. Athena tied it early in the 2nd half. Athena probably had more quality chances. Athena did a very good job on websters guns. Shelofsky took schuber out, and jake cargill neutralized reidy. Other than it was a very even game. Thomas' sweeper is very good as is athenas. Athenas defense is pretty solid as whole. Anyone else at this game?
