St. John Fisher/Houghton to scrimmage at CS?

I heard this is all but a done deal. I don't think a date has been selected.

Fisher has three CS alums: Isaiah Smalt, Matt Newman, and Will Cornett. Isaiah and Newman are likely starters.

Houghton has two CS alums: Bruce Mourhess and Jon VanSkiver, and of course Colin Wright on the coaching staff. I'm not sure if Bruce and Jon are starters but they'd no doubt see a majority of time for this.

Should be awesome for the alums, and a great way to start the season for a community that loves its basketball.

Isaiah didn't know the exact date.

The center spot is pretty much his this year, and Newman's still starting at PG. I think Will's going to have a lot of chances too.

How are Bruce and Jon doing for Houghton?

Both are doing well. Preseason started last week, so everybody is getting back into the swing of things.
