OA-will have the undefeated JV squad from a couple of year ago but will it carry over. I will say that they will be good and be at the top of their Div. But key loses of Riner and Seward will hurt them.

BB-will be at the bottom and might not win a game this year.

Attica-will be strong with Tate and key sporting cast and should be there with OA for the div.

Holley-This is do or die for this squad with lots of talent and some good JV players coming up. This will be there best chance to have winning season but they will not be able to compete with the Div. and with the lack of coaching will not be able to compete with team such as; Attica, Alexander, ND, Elba.

Alexander-Alexander probably will have the most upswing from last year. They return two of the most talented Soph. from last year and good supporting cast it should be strong year for them and should be there with OA and Attica for the div.

I like what you've done here, I think everything is fairly accurate. Oakfield and ND are easy picks for being top tear teams, but i think any game that doesn't involve them could have the potential to be very close games. I'm not sure if Guiliano (I may have mispelled) will be able to carry Elba next year, or if Tooley will be able to carry Kendall. Not a lot of support players coming from those teams. Also Attica has some decent returning players, but like I said earlier, I think the Genesee Region will have some very close and competitve games this year.

The league should be very competitive with many new players being expected to carry the bulk of scoring duties like ND (Francis), Pembroke (losing Wright and Babcock), Alexander (Woodruff), OA (Losing Seward and Riner). Saying that i think that coaching will really determine the league this year along with the new players stepping up and becoming leaders as i assume most players mentioned above were captains and leaders. OA, Attica, Holley and Elba will have the easiest transition with Khelenbeck, Westimeir , Mitchell, and Guiliano, all returning for there respective team.

I think OA, Attica, ND should be the top tier.
With Holley, WC, and Elba also being competitive...

Overall, Ryan Wilson should be the stand out player this year as he is greatly working to improve his motor skills over the summer. Zachary Burke will most likely quit the team three consecutive times. But In the long run, Drew Norton will pull through as the leading scorer and GR all-star.

Well as a former player under Wayne I would just like to say that the day i quit the team was one of the happiest days of my life. After two years of working as hard or harder than the starters on the team and never once getting an opportunity to show what I could do in a game situation, finally being able to walk away felt great. I was told that not only did i deserve to play for my hard work by several respected members of the Alexander community but I was also that was good enough to play. Every member of that team said that i deserved playing time. I could never relay that message to you though because you do not communicate with your players. I loved playing on that team. We were a close knit team and family. however i could no longer stand to play under you, and i know that i was not a starter and i wasn't the best player on the team but some minutes a game would have helped a lot, especially to give the starters a break. I guess they needed a break too because they weren't that good? I'm not sure why you would start someone who didn't make an impact. You turn every player against you and you have thrown away so much good talent. I hope you are proud of yourself, I mean always hear that if you talk crap about your former players online it makes you a good coach.

Oa and ND will for sure be the top teams this year, Oa has a solid squad returning, even after the losses of Riner, Seward and Smith. Yes Elba is young, but Guiliano will be able to carry the team and will be helped by Sophmore Dan Ramsey. Alexander has 3 returning starters? (correct me if i'm wrong), and although they lost woodruff, they will be very competitive.

The GR will be a good league to watch this year. There may be surprises coming out of any team at any point. The obvious, yes, Oakfiled-Alabama and Notre-Dame Batavia. But, don't count out other teams. Kendall, losing Laureano, Holley losing a few seniors but still attain Mitchell. Pembroke losing Babcock, Alexander with Woodruff, Elba with Ostroski, OA with Smith, Riner, and Seward, and ND losing Francis. Though most team look to stay as well as they did in 08', some teams may come out with a surprise. Tooley and Langdon for Kendall will be a prime force in their run for the money. But losing Laureano is extremely key for their offense and defensive presence. Holley lost three seniors, but one of them being a starter. Mitchell, the obvious superstar, alog with Hills and Bower will return to the team. Pembroke may be short with skilled players, but don't count them out. Along with Alexander. Their frontcourt may be a surprise with leader Shelnut. Elba will be a top contender, too, with the Ramsey brothers. They may be ab it too young for the experience ahead, though. Though O-A lost three key players, their returning undefeated J.V team will look extremely impressive. N-D's team always comes out with a bang. Other teams such as B-B, W-C, Lyndonville, and Attica will look to return with a competitive presence for all of the teams in the G-R. There can't be a necessary rating for the teams, basketball can turn any way at any time.

OA-will have the undefeated JV squad from a couple of year ago but will it carry over. I will say that they will be good and be at the top of their Div. But key loses of Riner and Seward will hurt them.

BB-will be at the bottom and might not win a game this year.

Attica-will be strong with Tate and key sporting cast and should be there with OA for the div.

Holley-This is do or die for this squad with lots of talent and some good JV players coming up. This will be there best chance to have winning season but they will not be able to compete with the Div. and with the lack of coaching will not be able to compete with team such as; Attica, Alexander, ND, Elba.

Alexander-Alexander probably will have the most upswing from last year. They return two of the most talented Soph. from last year and good supporting cast it should be strong year for them and should be there with OA and Attica for the div.

Pembroke-will be playing with a JV team this year compare to last year. This will be a rebiulding year for them and they will be at the bottom with BB.

DIV 2

ND-is by the favorite with both Zambito's and strong JV team from last year. This team will not be as strong year past but will be good.

WC-wont' be that bad this year with two good soph. returning but will not be able to compete with ND.

Elba-This team will be young but talented for sure. May surprise ND and could give a run for the money.

Lyndonville-Not very talented and should be at the bottom again.

Kendal-I think they will struggle this year and will be at the bottom, no one be able replace their best player from last year.

I would have to disagree with you on our varsity girls soccer team, i would say only losing one regular season game, that of which was lost in overtime against Pembroke, then going on to the sectional championship game which unfortunately they also lost in overtime would be considered a pretty dominate season, of the GR at least. ok look I'm gonna drop knowledge about this for the last time. To clarify even though i quoted you, it is directed to everyone. No one thinks holley is inferior anymore. you were able to prove everyone wrong through your play ON THE FIELD. everyone respected the holley football team for what they accomplished on the field and no one can ever take that away. I honestly give holley a ton of credit for being able to do what they did, regardless of past records.

And ik a lot of ppl who dont visit this site were cheering for holley because they respected what they were doing on the gridiron. However, when shown the posts from you holley kids there views of holly football quickly changed. Instead of being a feel good story about turning a losing team into a success you made your team and town look like cocky arrogant jerks.

So with that being said I think that if you tone down the cocky "I'm better than you" attitude you will be able to prove a lot more. well soccer in my mind a high difference in a score isnt really dominance. if u can shut a team out almost every game than thats dominance. compared to a team like mcquaid who could score 10 goals in a blink of an eye holley isnt that dominant. id rather see a team in a competitive game win 2-0 than a good team killin a bad team 10-0

I am here to say that they wont combine for 50. I bet they combine for 30 with Mitchell having 20 of them, and maybe less. I wish I could see the matchup between Guiliano and Mitchell though it will be intense, I think the game honestly comes down to them two and the x factors, (Not Holley Cheering Sections). If Guiliano outplays Mitchell, and Ramsey has a solid game Elba wins, if Mitchell outplays Guiliano,and Hills has a solid game Holley wins. I would think Mitchell and Guiliano would have to guard eachother too, well at least for Elba's sake because really who else could guard Mitchell from Elba? I still say Elba wins in the end...but we shall see!

Div I

OA-will have the undefeated JV squad from a couple of year ago but will it carry over. I will say that they will be good and be at the top of their Div. But key loses of Riner and Seward will hurt them.

BB-will be at the bottom and might not win a game this year.

Attica-will be strong with Tate and key sporting cast and should be there with OA for the div.

Holley-This is do or die for this squad with lots of talent and some good JV players coming up. This will be there best chance to have winning season but they will not be able to compete with the Div. and with the lack of coaching will not be able to compete with team such as; Attica, Alexander, ND, Elba.

Alexander-Alexander probably will have the most upswing from last year. They return two of the most talented Soph. from last year and good supporting cast it should be strong year for them and should be there with OA and Attica for the div.

Pembroke-will be playing with a JV team this year compare to last year. This will be a rebiulding year for them and they will be at the bottom with BB.

DIV 2

ND-is by the favorite with both Zambito's and strong JV team from last year. This team will not be as strong year past but will be good.

WC-wont' be that bad this year with two good soph. returning but will not be able to compete with ND.

Elba-This team will be young but talented for sure. May surprise ND and could give a run for the money.

Lyndonville-Not very talented and should be at the bottom again.

Kendal-I think they will struggle this year and will be at the bottom, no one be able replace their best player from last year.
