Who's all going to this game? Any interesting side notes for this match-up? I thought I heard that someone on ER/G was related to someone from Geneva.

What a game. ER is the real deal. Geneva shot themselves in the foot witha few turnovers and a TD being called back. But it was a hard fought game with plenty of sportsmanship from both teams. Congrats to both teams. Next week the Screaming Eagles of Midlakes invade Loman Field..

ER played an aggressive football game last night. It sure was different from the ballet last week against Waterloo. The coaches at ER deserve a lot of credit. Very good and creative play calling. ER sure had Geneva's number with that screen pass, I hope we learn how to defend that because every team in the FL east will be looking at this film licking their chops. Geneva made a lot of mistakes, maybe the worse game I have seen them play in 4 years and still they come out on top. That is crazy! I will be at the ER and Wayne game that is going to be the battle for second place in the league anyone know when that is? Good game ER! You get some respect. Now win a sectional game and you will get the rest.

...based on the first two weeks I would rate both Midlakes & Pal Mac over Wayne.

The Bombers easily dominated time of possession and should have had the W last night. Wayne at ER-Gananda October 9th....

When is Cooper coming back? Cooper will solidify Geneva's offense and defense that kid is a player. It is a shame that he could not play against ER and Wayne. it is really going to be hard to measure how good Geneva is with all the starters playing Waterloo and Penn yan? How many starters were out for this game? Warner was back ( Good Game ) Kyle Shorter was back ( Great Game ). Where was the young Mckiever and why did Malquan sit out the first 2 series on offense and defense?

The Bombers easily dominated time of possession and should have had the W last night. Wayne at ER-Gananda October 9th.... Its all about capitalizing on mistakes and Geneva won that battle. I agree ER dominated ToP and they made some plays it just wasnt enough last night. Did you see how many different Geneva kids played last night? I thought whitcomb got confused and thought he was coaching youth football and everyone had to play ( LOL ). The depth on that team is amazing and most of them are juniors. I think if Geneva meets ER in sectionals its a blowout. Whitcomb never shows his hand. He did just enough for the win last night. Its like that every year, the only teams that truley see what geneva has in the regular season used to be Victor and CA because he had to to win. If Geneva stays in finger lakes east they will not lose in LEAGUE play for a long time as long as the kids stay grounded.

...based on the first two weeks I would rate both Midlakes & Pal Mac over Wayne. Wait and see strength of oppenent counts for every thing. Speed Kills, I saw Midlakes at a scrimmage and they looked like they were standing still. Just big and slow. Pal Mac is always tuff. Geneva has a hard time with them everytime they play them. two years ago in Pal Mac was a nail biter. So maybe Pal Mac. Wayne is very physical. However, I shouldn't make assumptions but Newark has been horrible for the past 4 years I just dont see them as competetive and Pal Mac just got by them. I guess we will see. Anything can happen, That is why they play the game.
