Newark vs. Pal-Mac

Mynderse vs. Wayne

I don't see Tanea stopping wingerden. But even if she does stop her, the next set of players for Pal-Mac are better then the next set for Newark. Without Tanea scoring, who is going to score for Newark.

As far as the week. It will be battle for 1st and 2nd and the battle for 3rd and 4th. Newark and Pal Mac are clearly ahead of the rest of the league. the good news for Pal Mac is they can lose a couple and still be the 1 seed for sectionals. I am not sure Newark will be the one seed if they win every game. And even if they are they will lose to whomever they play. Its too bad they werent in Pal Macs section then we can have this hype a 3rd time.

My prediction Pal Mac 3 Newark 1. Mynderse 2 Wayne 1

pal-mac is the much better team. they do a great job of controling play/ball. the problem is they are a one goal scorer team. yeah others can score in the weaker games, but we all know who will score for them in the big games. team can score on pal-mac, so they can be beaten by a team that scores first and plays good defense on their big gun.

Why is it that Pal Mac is playing two games for every 1 of Newarks. This could be a key a tired Pal Mac team or a not sharp Newark team. Ought to be a great game.

Well Newark 3-0 vs Pal-Mac 5-0. Does anyone know if both teams are healthy? Also could we be overlooking the biggerst advantages Pal-Mac has in this game.

One the game is in Pal-Mac - huge student crowd I would suspect. The 12th man so to speak.

Two - the goalies. Pal Macs won league last year, Newarks wasnt playing soccer. Mark my words: A weak goal by Pal-Mac wins this game.

Have heard Newark will be missing a few players. Not sure who or how important, but I heard the injury bug hit them this week.

Great game by both teams. Either team could have won the game. The games between these two teams are always intense and fought to the end. The one comment I would like to make to those who write about these teams is that many kids on these teams are friends and have played with each other on a few occasions over the past years. Both have a great group of seniors who work very hard and will make the game on the 12th as high quality as last night. The sportsmanship by both teams at the end of the game was excellent. It looked like a sectional final and not an early season match-up

I am big enough to admit when I was wrong. I went to the game last night and it was by far the best girls soccer game I have seen. The quality of play and most of all the tense pressure of every single minute of the game was amazing. The two teams match up very well and really fought hard. Both teams should be congratulated for giving the fans a great game. I noticed the adult fans from Newark and Pal-Mac got along well before, during, and after the game. Some Pal-Mac fans even showed the sportsmanship to shake the Newark coaches hand as he left the field. This showed class.

I would highly suggest fans of soccer head over to Newark on October the 12th to watch the rematch between these great teams.

I also think both these coaches deserve the coach of the Year Honors for their respective classes. I think the Pal-Mac Coach will easily get his. The Newark coach will probably not even if his teams wins every game, which I doubt any team will,. He competes with too many Monroe county Schools.

Once again these two teams showed what the best of 315 soccer is about. I only wish I saw those times they played together as one group. They could win sectionals or compete with any team in section 5.

Went to the Newark vs Waterloo game have to say it was entertaining..
the game started with Vankowenberg heading in two goals and then Hyman heading it in with a third. You dont see that happening to often in one game. When Tanea made the fourth goal the excitement was over..

Sounds like i should have gone to Wayne vs Mynderse game it ended in a tie anyone have any details?
