So far: Have outscored their opponents 166-0 so far this season, defeating Bolivar-Richburg 63-0 in week 1, Warsaw 56-0 in week 2, and Southern Springs from Section IV 47-0 in week 3.
Remaining Schedule: Home vs. Letchworth (3-0), @ Cal-Mum (2-1), @ Geneseo (0-3)
Shining Stars: James Stanton 5 ’11" LBS junior quarterback completed 3-of-6 passes and all three were good for touchdowns from 29, 17 and 28 yards out. He also rushed three times for 80 yards as Avon defeated Bolivar-Richburg 63-0 in week 1. passed for 233 yards, completing 9-of-12 passes for one touchdown vs. Southern Springs. On the season Stanton is 20-for-27 for 395 yards and 5 touchdowns.Rich Welch Junior Tailback rushed 13 times for 219 yards rushing He had touchdown runs of 41, 5, 43 and 9 yards in Avon’s 56 -0 win over Warsaw. On the season Welch has carried the ball 35 times for 408 yards.Welch is also a force on defense, leading Avon in tackles with 32. Garrett Kesel Senior Wide Receiver, caught six passes for 77 yards vs. Warsaw. He had 109 yards receiving on six catches vs. Southern Springs. On the Season Kesel has 13 receptions for 214 yards.
Outlook: Friday's game vs. 3-0 Letchworth will tell us a lot about these Braves. So far so good, but are they really strong? or have they played weak competition? The Letchworth game should answer that question. Next weeks game vs. Cal-Mum will also give us an idea of who the favorite is for the DD Sectional championship.

Clyde-Savannah
So Far: Have outscored their opponents 129-25 so far this season. Defeating Lyons 42-0 in week 1, Marcus Whitman 26-13 in week 2, and Geneva DeSales 61-12 in week 3.
Remaining Schedule: Home vs. Mynderse (0-3), Home vs. South Seneca/Romulus (3-0), @ Red Jacket (1-2)
Shining Stars: Harley Roberson 5 ’10” 156 lbs outside linebacker, had three tackles, recovered a fumble and made two interceptions that he returned 5 & 60-yards for touchdowns as Clyde-Savannah beat DeSales 61-12. Tony Drams passed for three touchdowns and ran for one vs. Lyons. Tyler Munson had 6 carries for 148 yards vs. Lyons. Rodrigo Morales had 19 carries for 100 yards rushing vs. Lyons.
Outlook: Clyde-Savannah has all of the ingredients to get back to the Sectional Finals this season. Only remaining test on their schedule appears to be South Seneca who've been inconsistent so far this season. With a solid passing & ground game, Clyde could be a tough out come sectional time.

Caledonia-Mumford
So Far: Have outscored their opponents 98-20 so far this season. Defeating Canisteo-Greenwood 48-6 in week 1, lost 7-3 to Letchworth in week 2, and defeated Warsaw 47-7 in week 3.
Remaining Schedule: Home vs. Geneseo (0-3), Home vs. Avon (3-0), Home vs. Leroy (1-2)
Shining Stars: Tyler Lauffer rushed for 157 yards on 14 carries vs. Canisteo-Greenwood. Had 178 yards and 4 touchdowns vs. Warsaw. Mike Anderson QB completed 10-of-16 passes for 73 yards vs. Letchworth.
Outlook: Cal-Mum could suprise some people and spoil the potential Clyde-Savannah/Avon re-match in the sectional finals. Their match-up vs. Avon next weekend should tell us a lot about the Class DD Sectionals.
And even though Leroy has struggled a little this year, I'd still expect the same atmosphere when the two teams meet in week 6
