I think Bath picks up their fourth straight shut out

I think this game will be closer than most people think. Wellsville is probably a little better than what they showed against Hornell and in my opinion Bath has yet to be really tested. I think Bath comes out on top 21-14.

The one advantage for Bath is Wellsville likes to run the ball a lot. Bath's Defense does very well stopping the run. Wellsville is very similiar to this years Bath team, Wellsville has 2-or-3 really good running backs.

I do think it'll be close but I'm thinking the Shutout streak remains in tact. Bath wins 17-0

Wellsville has improved from year's past, but I don't think enough to compete with Bath.
Bath 35-6.

St. Mary's from Buffalo Section VI was very good.

St. Mary's is 1 and 3 and also lost to section 5 team HF-L. Too bad HF-L left LCAA, could have been several good games. Without any non-league games in rochester it is tough to guage where any of the LCAA D1 teams are. Wellsville played Hornell tough, squeaked by Way-Co. I think this will be a close game, similar to Hornell and Wellsville maybe 28-14 Bath.

Yes They're 1-3 but look who they've played, Class B Bath (4-0) lost 17-7, Jamestown-Southwestern (4-0) the Defending Class C State Champions who've won 19 in a row, they lost to them 31-14, and Chaminade out of Canada who they beat 47-28. And as you mentioned HF-L who is a Class A school that's 4-0, they lost to them 34-6. So without knowing Chaminade's record the 3 teams that St. Mary's has lost to is a combined 12-0, that tells me that St. Mary's has played some tough competition and hasn't really gotten blown out with the exception of it's 28 point loss to HF-L.

I think this will be a close game, similar to Hornell and Wellsville

Hornell defeated Wellsville 39-12, I don't really consider 27 points a close game.

St. Mary's is considered a Class C school according to Sectionv.org

Wellsville 21-7
Bath's shutout will be no more. I think Wellsville has improved a great deal over last year. They are able to cover a running game. Berardi is a great overall player. Wellsville also has a good front line. Bath will have to step up their play inorder to beat them. Wellsville can get the job done if they come to play.

Wellsville has come a long way, but now is time to play with the big boys. Bath should win by 28 points

How does Wellsville do this week with Bath?

I think they will do better than the Bath faithful anticipate. Sounds like Bath has a good team this year, but blowing out Dansville, Way-Co and Leroy(this year) are to be expected by a solid team. If Wellsville can give Livonia a rough time, I would guess that they will at least put up a fight against Bath.

Bath 28-13.

WOW. If you think 39-12 is a close game what do you consider a blowout? I honestly don't see Bath shutting them out, but I feel the Rams win by at least 2 touchdowns.

Besides Austin Dwyer right?

I think the world of Dwyer. He is a fantastic back, 2 different styles of backs I Think. Dwyer more the speedster he runs thru arm tackles for sure but Nick Carroll runs thru people. He might be pound for pound the strongest kid in section V let alone the LCAA. and he is developing into a nice back in his first year carrying the ball.

Austin Dwyer took the first play from scrimmage 80 yards to paydirt and Hornell went up 7-0 after just 20 seconds. However Wellsville was ready, one play after the ensuing kickoff, Wellsville Quarterback Zac Roberts got the ball into the hands of Running Back Bryan Depew, who lofted a 75 yard scoring strike to Alex Hewlett on a halfback-option pass.

Also it should be noted that Wellsville is not afraid to Kick Field goals or at least attempt them. They recruited Former Soccer player Gody Gustin, Gustin Drilled a 37-yard field goal vs. Way-Co, vs. Hornell The Lions missed a chance to take the lead on their second possession of the game when Cody Gustin’s 32 yard field goal attempt fell just short. vs. Bolivar-Richburg Gustin went 7-for-8 on Extra points and missed a 42 yard field Goal Attempt. vs. Livonia Gustin missed a 42 yard field goal.

So Wellsville has attempted a Field goal in all 4 games so far this season, So I wouldn't be suprised if they attempt one if they get close enough, it'd be pretty sad if Bath's shutout streak ended on a 35 yard field goal.

Hey, crazier things have happened! BUT... I dont think that will either. Although Wellsville has improved a lot since last year, they still arent quite there to compete with Bath. Bath 33 Wellville 6.

Reading the write up in the Wellsiville paper on-line for the Hornell game, it seemed to indicate a close game that a team used to playing in big games was able to pull away in the second half. The quality of opponents for Bath is questionable. Wellsville has played Hornell. I think Bath will win, but I think Wellsville is a lot better than a lot of us thought at the start of the year. I think they will score.

Key words there were "Reading the write up in the Wellsville paper"

It was 7-6 Hornell at the end of the 1st quarter but 27-6 at Halftime & 33-6 at the end of the 3rd, I think most people would agree it was over at Halftime

I see bath all over Wellsville. I watched the Hornell game and well Hornell had a crappy first quarter,,,,, So I think Hornell should have really walked all over them,,,,

CANT WAIT FOR THE BATH HORNELL GAME........That will be the game of the section. They are both good teams......

Wellsville has really turned their program around this year and I commend them for that but I just don't see them winning or for that matter scoring on Bath. Bath is a physical team that will pound Wellsville all night on both sides of the ball. I'm saying 28-0 Bath.

One point off on my prediction. What happened to "no shut out by Bath" and "Wellsville will win?"

Final Bath 29-0, T.C Carroll gets 12 Tackles & a Fumble Recovery and becomes Bath's all time leading tackler with 375 tackles. Kiele Wilson & Nick Carroll both had big games running the ball. Go Rams!

Wow Bath just seems to get better every week. Looks like seeds 1-4 won't be determined until the final weeks Bath / Hornell. Pal Mac/ Midlakes matchups. 1 and 2 and then 3 and 4 seeds may come down to second level points.

Dont know about that,,,, Dwyer that is h has been hitting harder then the lineman, and well would rather go head to head then juke out and run the outside..... 22 is a powerhouse, Cant wait for Hornell,Bath game!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched the Hornell/ Leroy game on TV, Saw what you are talking about or sure. Austin seemed to look for someone to hit on more than a few occassions, BUT I don't think hes gonna want to take that approach against the Bath D.LOL He had one GREAT TD where he Buried a LR defender, then bouced off a second kid who hit him hard and strolled into the endzone, that was fun to watch! lol
