it will be a great one, I'm not sure what the scouts for MCQ are gonna say to their coaches, um...we gotta stop Messina...um Magglioco can pick apart a run defense...um.. Bostick is a huge deep threat..um...Bianchi doesn't drop a pass...um.. their defense doesnt allow a first down.. let alone a TD!!! LOL

McQ will not score. Aquinas' defense is for real and they have too many weapons on offense for this game to even be close.
I got it AQ-27 McQ-0.

Sounds like this should be a great game to watch. What is Mcq's record?

McQuaid Jesuit is 6-0. I think Friday night could be one for the ages. When was the last time a McQuaid vs. Aquinas game had so much riding on it?

MCQ had this kind of record....but..AQ is always undefeated..so, and to those boys its the sectionals that makes the huge difference! don't get me wrong "Knightdad" AQ players are very motivated for this game, MCQ is just an obstacle, the AQ boys could have put up 100 on BK...MCQ is in for a long knight...thats all they have is those Jenkins boys(who might be your kids) and thats not enough!! Frankly both Pardner, Messina, and Bostick are all faster and more talented, and that fact right there doesn't even matter, its the team as a whole!! This is an actual team not the lousy city teams you played all year, and the complete off day that webster had!! you better go recruit like 5 players from BK and you might be within 3 TD's

Yes, I understand it's been a long time since McQuaid Jesuit has had a good record. I asked because I'm not from here. My football career was played in Section VI and was done in 1979.

However, from what I've seen, the Msgr. Martin teams AQ feasts on are bigger and more disciplined than the RCAC teams McQuaid has beaten. Although the RCAC teams speed is much faster than the MM teams. Other than that there doesn't look like a lick of difference between McQuaid's 6-0 and Dewey Ave's 6-0.

Both McQuaid and AQ are very well coached football teams with many talented kids. It should be a good game. But, unlike AQ hanger-ons like you, I won't disrespect the level of talent your teams has. My team will be there Friday let the best team win.

Also unlike you, my personal rule on these forums prevents me from naming specific boys, suffice it to say that my son is someone who is not a starter this year.

Wow, based on this post im rooting for Mcq.

Although I was anyway. The Jenkins kids aren't mine unless there is something I don't know about. And by the way, don't take your eyes off of Parker or Ortega as they are no slouches. The Irish are a decided favorite but don't discount this knights team. They play well.

I can't take the unsportsmanlike posts of the AQ faithful, I can't help but pull for MCQ and I usually don't follow the privates.

given MCQ a lot of respect and will continue to do so!! Like i said the Jenkins boys are very talented athletes and the team is playing well together!! I just don't believe they are good enough to hang with AQ!

clear, Lewis ans Gause are definitely D1 athletes for sure and Gause has more class than most athletes that I have ever seen! Also I, or anybody else, can post w/e we want on this, or any other site, and the players for all teams could care less! They will go out and give everything they have on every play! Now MCQ is on a roll and they deserve all the respect that they have rightfully earned! All I am saying is that someone outside of the Jenkins brothers will have to stand up to be in this game vs AQ! Clearly on or two athletes isn't, and wasn't enough to stop AQ from rolling over BK! The D and C has been all over them all season and on syracuse.com there was soooo much trash talk it was unbelievable! Now the MCQ fans have shown much more class on both sites, more then I have shown for sure, that is something that I CAN say! I wish the best of luck for both teams, get there early, for those planning on attending, I believe tickets are going on sale on Monday and shouldn't last long! This is looking like its gonna a packed house, and rightfully so!!

This is obviously a Big rivalry, but I think both teams have a mutual respect for the two. Two programs with a great history, undefeated, it doesn't get any better then this.

I think AQ's gonna get this one. They beat Kearney worse than the Knights beat Edison. Kozar threw something like 5 for 8 for like 48 yds while Magliocco was around 9 for 13 for something like 120 yds. I think AQ's line will stuff the run game and I'm not too confident in McQuaid's passing attack. And the Knights' 3-5 defense will probably hurt more than help this game. Masenna may not be a bulldozer but him and Young will still get around 4 yds a carry simply because the McQ kids who will make the tackle start around 4yds behind the line. And unlike all the other teams McQuaid's played, except for Webster, AQ actually has special teams. AND the Knights are just too inconsistent. I men Ortega has great runs but the next play he fumbles the rock. That won't cut it. If McQuaid comes out with the intensity and focus from the Webster game and doesn't make mistakes, they got a chance. Otherwise, it'll be a long game for the Knights. Prediciton: 28-7 AQ

will be good i hope!! You can't base the score or stats from those two games because AQ could have put up 60+ and MCQ could have put up...geez.... a million maybe 70+! Really you can't base much of anything on AQ's stats because Messina, Magglioco, Bostick, and many others are on the bench very early! And Maggliocco could have put up even more wild numbers, AND Messina is averaging over 10 yds a carry on the season! Look for much more than 4! I think Young is around 4-5 but given that he isn't the tail back, and is the full back that is pretty impressive!
Prediction: Fun Fun Fun!
