I have now seen the top 9 ranked teams in Class CC and 7 of the top 9 in Class C (I haven't seen HAC and won't get a chance to and I haven't seen Red Jacket but I am going to see them against Bloomfield next week). Here is how I would rank the combined classes right now in my honest opinion in terms of chances to win sectionals and move on as the State representative.
1 - Marion
2 - Keshequa
3 - Bloomfield
4 - Geneseo
5 - York
6 - Williamson
7 - Pembroke
8 - Alexander
9 - Addison
10 - Cal-Mum
I had Alexander higher on the list and Pembroke off the list but with the result of last nights game I reconsidered and set it up like that. Keshequa and York both looked great last night but I want to see how York finishes up the season before I really get a complete idea on them. Let me just say that they are 8th in Class C right now and I would not want to be the 1 seed that has them come to your place in the 2nd round. Class C is wide open in my opinion with at least 5 teams having a legitimate shot to win it (Keshequa, York, Geneseo, Addison, Naples - maybe Red Jacket but Naples did whack them last time they played). Class CC on the other hand really looks like Marion and Bloomfield's race. They both just keep beating up people, and even though they may not have the roughest schedules they aren't letting down in any of their games. Since Class CC seems so cut and dry probably a 7 seed will come out of no where and win it...haha.
What do you think.
