2001 Class B sectional finals. Hornell was ranked second in the state and had already beat up Bath pretty bad during the regular season. Bath had not been ranked most of the season and had to play someone ranked higher than them during both their sectional run and state run. Bath won the game in overtime. Definately one of the best games ive ever seen.

Footballfan65, I remember that game I think Bath won 14-13 after Hornell who had jason lockwood and that really tall qb missed the extra point. BATH was the #6 seed that year and Hornell #1. I remember Hornell beat Bath that year in the reg. season 26-0. If I remember correctly Bath lost 13-0 to HFL that year too??

1999 when No. 8 Geneseo beat No. 1 Clyde-Savannah 17-14 in the Class D quarterfinals.
They kicked a field goal on the last play of the game to win it.
The year before Clyde-Savannah had beaten Geneseo 54-0 in the sectional quarterfinals.
Geneseo made the sectional finals that year and lost to Batavia Notra Dame by one point.
There's no question — Geneseo's win over Clyde-Savannah in '99 was one of the greatest upsets in Section V history.

How about in 1996, Cal-Mum was on a 35-game winning streak and HFL beat them 23-22 I was at that game! Cal-Mum went on to lose to Valhalla-I in the state title game that year and I remember LeRoy beat HFL that year 21-0
