SECOND BIRDS EYE FOODS SECTION V GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK*

ALLEGANY COUNTY I: Alyssa Mountain of Cuba-Rushford A freshman center/forward Mountain recorded 14 points, collected 13 rebounds and made six steals in a 46-39 win over Houghton Academy. Then she had 16 points and 16 rebounds in a 56-25 win over Friendship

ALLEGANY COUNTY II: No Candidate Submitted.

ALLEGANY COUNTY III: Briana Meehan of Whitesville A junior forward/guard Meehan had her first double/double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds in a 56-52 loss to Wellsville. She also had two assists, four steals and only two turnovers.

FINGER LAKES EAST: Emma Baker of Wayne A senior forward/guard Baker scored 10 points and had 17 rebounds in a win over Waterloo and had 28 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Marcus Whitman.

FINGER LAKES WEST I: Stephanie Farnsworth of South Seneca A senior center/forward Farnsworth had 67 points, 44 rebounds and eight blocked shots over three games last week.

FINGER LAKES WEST II: No Candidate Submitted.

GENESEE COUNTY I: Kaylee Amesbury of Byron -Bergen A senior forward Amesbury had 15 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and two blocks in a win over Oakfield-Alabama.

GENESEE COUNTY II: Hannah Scott-McGrail of Notre Dame-Batavia A senior forward Scott-McGrail had nine points and 12 rebounds in a win over Lyndonville..

LIVINGSTON COUNTY I: Emily Wade of Caledonia-Mumford A junior forward Wade had 12 points, 10 rebounds and three steals in a victory over York.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY II: Amie Brooks of Pavilion A 5-foot-6 senior guard and captain Brooks had 25 points, 10 steals, five rebounds and two assists in a 53-27 win over LeRoy.

MONROE COUNTY I: Kori Bayne-Walker of Gates-Chili Bayne-Walker, a freshman guard, had 17 points including the game-winning basket with three seconds remaining in G-Cs 43-41 win over Webster Thomas.

MONROE COUNTY II: Kelly Carolan of Webster Schroeder Carolan, a senior guard scored 24 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and had nine assists in two Schroeder wins.

MONROE COUNTY III: Alex Valenti of Victor Valenti, a senior forward, had a career high 19 points along with seven rebounds in a 57-38 win over School of the Arts.

PRIVATE-PAROCHIAL: No Candidates Submitted.

ROCHESTER LEAGUE: No Candidates Submitted.

STEUBEN COUNTY: Reagan Ryan of Canisteo-Greenwood Ryan, a junior guard, led Canisteo-Greenwood to two wins with two triple doubles, just missing quadruple doubles in both games. She had 31 points, 11 rebounds, 10 steals and nine assists against Bradford and 27 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists and nine steals against Campbell-Savona.

WAYNE COUNTY: Chelsea Craine of Red creek Craine, a senior guard, averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals over two games last week.

* Each Player of the Week will receive a certificate from Birds Eye Foods
