This weekend Gates hosted a hockey tournament at Genesee Valley Ice Rink. They performed well beating Clarkstown North 8-3 on Friday and then beat Liverpool 3-1 Saturday. I was only able to shoot Saturday's game and wish i had time to shoot more. The game was very physical with a surplus of penalties and Liverpool had a very difficult time controlling the puck on the offensive end. The Spartans offense was too quick to the puck and put a lot of pressure on the Warriors goalie (who was outstanding). Click on the pic for the rest of the photos....
