I heard call mum is going to be running more of a spread type offense... anyone know if there is any truth to that? Also, anyone know how everyone scrimmages went?

I think Avon is going to have a tough time this year. They still have Welch and Stanton, however they have lost a lot on the defensive side of the ball and the OL is young and inexperienced. Englert has surprised me before, so I will not count them out, but it is going to be tougher then the past couple years. I look at CM and Letchworth to be the top of the division. I see Letchworth taking the division, CM number 2. They both should contend in sectionals.

Regardless of who wins, DII is great football. Two of the most storied teams around compete in it every year. Last year it produced 2 sectional champions and a sectional finalist. Not bad for a 6 team division. I think 2 more sectional champions will come from DII this season, not sure who it will be though.

I heard that Letchworth and Cal-Mum both dominated their scrimmages, and that LeRoy also did very well at the Victor scrimmage. Don't forget that they are back in D-II this year. I think the winner of the Letchworth Cal-Mum game in week 2 will be the D-II winner though. I also agree that 2 teams from D-II very well could win sectionals. All in all, its always a tough division and you can throw the records out the window when Letchworth, Cal-Mum, LeRoy, and Avon play each other.

I see Avon is @ LeRoy in week 2. I can't remember the last time Avon beat Leroy, especially in Leroy??
